November -Set Apart (The Beatitudes) By Jennifer Kennedy Dean. In this Bible study through the beatitudes, author Jennifer Kennedy Dean examines the promise of blessedness in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. Unlike a circumstancedriven emotion, such as happiness, blessedness is eternal and grounded in the reality of Christ in you. Set Apart helps you realize that they were made for Holiness, and this core concept of the beatitudes is accessed through a praying life-a life lived in the present-tense power of God. It is only when we continually pursue Holiness that blessedness comes, and we discover the power and fulfillment of the promise of God.

This study will address the challenges men face today by what our culture is redefining as manhood and confusing men in their pursuit of Biblical manhood. It will ask questions such as –How will you respond? What will you say and do when the world demands a response? Our young men will discover how to respond by rejecting passivity, accepting responsibility, leading courageously, loving unconditionally, living with integrity, serving humbly, and investing eternally. This will teach them to let others see masculinity and manhood through the lens of Christ in their life with seven characteristics for becoming a better man, husband, father, and leader.
